Autopsy 3.0 is a complete rewrite from Autopsy 2. It is Java-based and will be capable of running on many platforms. Initially though, it is being targeted at Windows. It is currently in Beta form.
Beta 3 of Autopsy added:
- Ingest Modules
- Single navigation tree
- Keyword Search Module (indexed search)
- Hash Lookup Module
- Recent Activity Extraction Module (web artifacts, etc.)
