The framework contains two applications: tsk_analyzeimg and tsk_validatepipeline, which are both located in the bin folder. tsk_analyzeimg is the main executable that uses a variety of modules for file analysis. A number of modules come preloaded with the framework, and can be found in the modules folder. The other executable, tsk_validatepipeline, is used to validate whether modules can be loaded into tsk_analyzeimg. Carrier: Initial page

<p>Initial page</p>
<p><b>New page</b></p><div>NOTE: The TSK Framework has not been included in an official release yet.<br />
<br />
The original goal of TSK was to provide platform independent access to all types of volume and file systems. The framework expanded that goal to include application-level analysis so that there would be an open source end-to-end solution for digital investigations. <br />
<br />
Much of the documentation for using the framework is included in the source code documentation [http://www.sleuthkit.org/sleuthkit/docs/framework-docs/index.html]. This wiki page contains links to pages that can be updated and edited by framework users.<br />
